Brought together by our passion for writing and ........ well actually that's not entirely true. Member's of the Writer's Block writing team came together from a group of friends who met at University. To my knowledge none of us were studying Literature or English but we loved the odd beer, dancing to 70's and 80's rock and we formed meaningful friendships that have lasted over 30 years. Our partners over time have become important parts of this close knit group.

 

The crazy idea to write a book collectively came to us on a reunion on the Island of Arran, and it all sounded like fun. 

 

We have laughed ourselves silly as we passed the book from one writer's hand to another so it delivered on it's purpose.

 

We'd like the book to have meaning beyond a bit of fun for the writers and the readers so we are donating all profits to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution who do tremendous work keeping the waters surrounding the UK safe.
